With sincerity, a patient and attentive listening ear, and a strong sense of justice, I am a beacon for women in difficult times. I help them regain trust and thereby take a safe step forward. <\/strong><\/p>

The human psyche has always fascinated me; even at a young age, I was seen as a confidant, someone who listens and offers safety. During my work in the prison, I began to delve into psychopathology, which further strengthened my commitment and knowledge in providing care. My time in the women's shelter marked a turning point. What I saw there and was able to mean to the women strengthened my inner motivation like never before.<\/p>

With my experience as a social worker and life coach, I navigate complex support processes with confidence and competence. I am familiar with social organizations and procedures and possess extensive knowledge of laws and regulations regarding victim support. From administrative support to space for conversation and advice upon request, I offer guidance that aligns with what is desired and needed. Practical, but also on a mental and emotional level.<\/p>

PERSONAL STORY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A 19-year-old young woman presented herself with requests for debt assistance. Already during our first conversation, I noticed that there was more going on than just the financial issue.<\/p>

By asking carefully targeted questions, I got to the core step by step. While she still felt somewhat uncomfortable during our first conversation\u2014which I fully understand\u2014the second meeting a week later already had a much more relaxed atmosphere. By asking reflective questions and gently returning to the topics she had touched upon in our previous conversation, her confidence grew, and she was more open about the situation, touching on the real core. An unstable home situation, living alone with her mother because her sisters had already moved out, and no father in the picture, made her feel very responsible for her mother's well-being. She explained that her mother leaned on her heavily and that she found it difficult to deal with. Upon further questioning, it turned out that there was also a trauma stemming from something her brother had done to her, but she did not want to elaborate on this at that moment. By simply being there, standing \u2018beside\u2019 her instead of \u2018opposite\u2019 her, and listening sincerely, I created space for her to feel safe and secure. She also gave me this feedback at the end of our second conversation: \u201cYou really listen, and that feels very nice and safe.\u201d<\/p>

We have come many appointments since then, and what were once problems have now become challenges. By being open to my help, she has opened herself up to reflection, and as a result, she has made great strides for herself. She has come to stand by her own standards and values \u200b\u200band conveys them to others. It was nerve-wracking at first, but by continuing to support her, listening, and advising when asked, she is sticking to this chosen path very well.<\/p>

\u201cI met Ramon when I had fled from a house where I was held for three months as a \u2018hidden woman.\u2019 I knew absolutely nothing about anything in the Netherlands. Ramon gave me the space to speak and listened sincerely and patiently to everything I had to say. This was the first time I could share my story, and I felt that I was truly heard. Without judgment, Ramon began asking me questions and told me the steps we could take from that moment on. Police, Veilig Thuis, Centraal Onthaal Rotterdam \u2014 Ramon organized the appointments and was always there with me. Now I am in a shelter (thanks to him) and I am working on myself. Even now, Ramon is there for me. Just to listen or to give advice if I ask for it. Ramon let me be myself and is still helping me find my true self again. Without him, I wouldn\u2019t know where I would be now.\u201d<\/p>
